When Mother Nature dresses up for Halloween

Isn’t it wonderful when Mother Nature joins in the fun and dresses up for Halloween?

Sunrise on Halloween

This was the sunrise over Lake Ontario today – October 31, 2016.  A sliver of pumpkin orange amid the inky dark clouds – traditional Halloween colors of orange and black.  One of the first really cold days of the new winter, with a frost on the ground.

And then as the sun hit the sky, a little more of the spice!
